Cozy country hotel Klockargården
Öregrund is a picturesque harbor town in the outer archipelago of Northern Roslagen, less than 2 hours from Stockholm. The village features pastel-colored wooden houses with a long history in narrow alleys around a beautiful harbor.
The country hotel Klockargården is hidden right in the heart of the town, surrounded by restaurants, shops, the harbor, park, and sea. The archipelago is always ready to be explored! Start with a nature walk or rent a boat, jet ski, kayak, SUP, or bike to discover the nature, or why not play tennis or padel on Öregrund’s fine courts? A memory for life is to watch the sunset over the sea (the only place on the east coast) from the cliffs, perhaps with a grilled sausage at one of the cozy barbecue spots nearby.

Breakfast is included, and during the summer, we make waffles for our guests in the garden. We offer dinner options through partnerships at the harbor. Remember! It’s cheaper and there are more rooms available when you book directly on our website.
Our accommodations
There is access to self-catering and a washing machine for long-term stays, and you can easily book the entire accommodation for groups and mini-conferences. For all types of special requests such as course venues, golf, hot tubs, group bookings, weddings, and conferences, etc.

The goal is for you to have a wonderful stay at Klockargården and return home rested, enriched with activities and the fresh scents of the forest and sea, flavors from delicious dinners in the harbor, and inspired by the unique environment.
History
Klockargården was founded in 1998 by Olle Leufven. In 2018, Klockargården went through a generational shift when founder and motorsport icon Olle handed over the reins to his daughter Jennifer. He remains at Klockargården, continuing to spread the authentic warmth. When Olle bought the farm, it needed renovation. There were no hotel rooms and no store until he renovated one room at a time and converted the barn into the beloved interior shop it became. Along with various employees, Klockargården has become the gem it is today. Over the years, it has also operated a restaurant and café intermittently.
Long before we had children, we came here to enjoy the sunsets over the sea, the bars and restaurants at the harbor, the music, the boats, the pastel-colored old wooden houses, the winding alleys, the paths, and the immensely picturesque feeling of a bygone time that couldn’t be more alluring! We got married here, had a restaurant and café here, visited dad who started Klockargården, and bought a summer house to dedicate our summers to.
Then came the children. We discovered hidden gems like the cliffs, swimming spots, ice cream shops with countless types of sprinkles, playgrounds, forests with blueberries, frogs, lizards, tennis for all ages, kayaks, sailing camp, riding school, golf courses for both big and small, the best pancakes, places where you can hang out without being afraid of water or cars, fishing spots, Boat Week, and more.
As we grow older, I imagine we’ll do like other elderly couples by the sea and take a swim every day!
